Bi-Xenon Bulbs

Is there any way to update the current bulb in the Bi-Xenon to 6500K to have a darker bluish output. It seems like after the lights start up the blue isn't as noticeable??

Thats because they're made to provide visibility at night. Not how "kool" they look

For those of us with absolutly 0 info about HID I will share some with you. MotionR sucks peroid cheap asian capsules are definently not an upgrade over your OEM phillips 85122 4100K capsules. Bi-xenon is not the capsule aka bulb but the projector, it works with a tiny motor which moves the shield inside the projector to change into high or low beam. You want bluer light ? Why it already looks great because of the flicker from the projectors they make all sorts of colors when your driving. You ever look at a BMW,Porsche,Audi,Lexus with projectors from far away they have very nice colors. 4100K-4300k = best light output and visiblity. Anything over 6000k is Bull**** and its fake its asian as well which = very cheap in the HID market. If you want some more color only thing you can get that is quality is Phillips Ultinon 6000k D2S Capsules there around $280 a pair also watch out for ebay half of everything that is claimed "Phillips" is fake. The ultinons are 100% real they have a Blue/Purple color to them and they have a little less output then the 4100k 3200 lumens vs 2800 lumens.

Best thing you could possibly do is wait a little get more hours on your capsules they will colorshift and become bluer.

Hope my info will help you from waisting your money on cheap stuff that is of no upgrade to you.

You can get ultinons from www.hid-online.com there in the uk though but have authentic 6000k capsules.

Flicker as in the lights turn on and off completly. ? What I ment by flicker is when the car goes over bumps the car goes up and down making a color spectrum and the colors change when looking at the light from far away.

hey Frozen...well my S5 the lights flicker when going over bumps and sometimes completely turns off my left one for about 5secs max...i see that you have great knowledge about HIDs as i read your earlier post which was very informative...so bro tell me what i should do, i told me dealer about this and he said that my left xenon might be dying..i also get a malfunction sometimes ( Malfunction - left low beam )
