1. The top premium package, including P1, P2 & P3 is only $6550.00. I think less than most people expected it to be.
2. Order top option package P3 and Sirius Satellite radio is UNAVAILABLE !
3. The AMG Sport Package is priced at $0. Must be a "holdover" from the 2006 clearance special, or just unorderable for the near future !

I agree. For all that I would have expected more.

P1 includes Sirius so you would assume that since all higher packages include contents of the lower ones then all 3 include Sirius. Yet, all 3 packages say they are not available with Sirius. So, that must be their designation to say that the standalone Sirius option is not selectable with any of the P packages because it's already included in all of them.

I would think that to be true as well.

The base price is also 3k more than the stealers were quoting before the release date.

I am sorry, but how is a NON-illuminated Mercedes-Benz door sill going to be an extra $450.

For a $100,000 car by the time you get the options you'd expect to be standard in an S, they want an additional $450 for MB door sills.

I found that kind of weird as well. Pay extra for something that comes standard on other models.

Oh well, I've been trying to configure it the way I like it, and there are some options not available with others. One thing I hate the most.

Yeah that is because Sirius Radio is included in the P3 package. AMG sport will not be free for MY2007.

Its great that they finally have the Build Option up, I'm going to go over there and see what I can come up with.
