Just drove the new S550!!!
What a nice piece of a machinery, I was afraid i wont like it, coz its too big with a stupid IDRIVE, the Mercedes IDrive is much much easier to use then 745i!!! It also angled a little bit to the driver, unlike in 7 series.
7 speed gearbox is waaaay better then My f*&*g ML350 which doesnt know where it wants to go. Very smooth gearbox you dont feel the gearchanges, I also like what they did with the buttons behind the steering wheel, on my ml left and right buttons can be used to change gear up and down, on S class they made it like on AMG cars Left is down right is gear up.
Steering is very light and pretty direct! This car unfortunetly didnt have ABC suspension so no comment on that. I also didnt make any hard cornering to comment on the handling of the car.
Digital speedo looks very very nice!
BMW 745i just doesnt compare to the new S550, fit and finish is very high.Quality of this S class is just superb!
Engine 5.5 382 hp and 390 trq you cant feel it when you gun it, But it damn fast! its a very very smooth car. Much better then OLD S500.
i think thats it. Pictures do not make justice at all!!!! In person it's one bad *** stunning car, Mine was black too! Its the way to go
Overall Mercedes is again king of the luxury world and noone can touch it!!!
