I remember there being some issues with them. Maybe that's why they got rid of it.

The W208's had them as well, but from what I hear, ppl were so accustomed to moving them manually that they were often broken. So I suppose that they removed it due to the inadvertent manual adjustment.

Similiarly my 2001 W220's interior mirror moved with the rest of the memory settings, and I can confirm my W221's interior mirror does not.
