Actually I have a plan for just about everything but cancer .... The problem is politicians wont do the right thing and they are only in office to make money and get reelected . A lot of our problems could be solved if we have a little less government and people maybe thought with their minds rather than emotions.

nono, i actually understand where he's comming from on this one... some people grow up learning to associate money with love. If his dad never has time to give him personal attention, he makesup for it by buying him things. Makes sense to me. My parents certainly can't afford it (well they COULD do it but it would be pretty devestating to their retirement) but I really want them to buy me a F430 right now. Why? Because I'm feeling quite emotionally damaged and need some love and affection (money).

To be honest, I was expecting a much more hostile reply from you after my agressive comments. I am trying to understand you without being judgemental, and since I do not know you I always try to assume the best not the worst, but you are not giving me much leeway here. My sarcasm ends here. On a more serious note: Instead of attempting to overcompensate for emotional issues, you should focus on rebuilding a relationship with your Dad. No car can subsititute a bond with a loved one, regardless of how fast or fun it is, and this is coming from a car fanatic. Instead of filling your mind with the thought that only material possesions equate happiness, convert that to focus more on your family. Trust me, this is not a healthy path to be on, emotional compensation never ends with the compensator on top. Cars are a fun hobby which should bring you and your Dad together, not drive you two apart. I hope you actually listen to what I am saying, because its not too late to solve a few issues. Compressing them and overcompensating will not solve a problem, it will just ignore it.
