what do you guys think of my friends S ??? The wheels are 22 x 9.0 in the front and 22 x10.5 in the rear. The tire sizes are 245/30/22 in the front and a 295/25/22 in the rear.

I don't know dog, I like to see a little more rubber. Those rims are really ghetto, but would not work in my hood. To many craters!

I think it looks pretty good. I like the stance of the 22's and the deep lip, but I personally would have gone with a different style rim. What brand are the wheels and how deep are those rear lips?

Thanks everyone for your honest feedback. We took the car from Orange County to Beverly Hills to see the end of the GumBall 3000, and it rode quite well, definately not stock though. The lip on the back is about 6in. The wheels are from EXE wheels. Once again, Thank You.

Ghetto, IMO. This car is about balance between style/purpose. Those wheels serve no purpose except to say LOOK AT MEE!

kinda tacky. But then again, that sells.

Hell, yes. You want them to look at you. You've worked your a** off to get where you're at. Why be boring and look like every other schmuck out there who thinks he's a VIP. If want to go unnoticed, get a backup "beater" for those times on the "DL", Chrissakes! That's why you need it. WTF does one invest in a top-of-the-line Benz in the first place? To first separate yourself from the rest of the plebians. Then, once you've accomplished that, you need to go to the next level and further separate yourself from everyone else who has money but no sense of style by being INDIVIDUAL and UNIQUE. CUSTOMIZATION - that's what it's all about. To just have a 3-pointed star in the front AIN'T ENOUGH. The 80s are over! Also - we aren't talking about collector car status where you need to keep it stock.

The rims are cool, the deeper the dish even cooler, and the lowering the coolest. All that's needed is a Brabus or Lorinser kit, some tint, and voila, you're a VIP that says get the hell outta my way, yes, I have an ego, and I don't give a f**k!

Sorry dude, throwing on the biggest set of wheels you saw on MTV doesnt mean you are unique, just insecure.

While many people buy a benz primarily for the 3 pointed star, I bought mine for the features, functions, style and peformance. BALANCE. Then TASTEFULLY modded it, keeping it balanced. That mod is all show, and has WORSE performance and little purpose. Its ok by me for people to do ego-ize their car, makes me look better. Just dont mistake the ego with style. The wheels themselves look nice, just way to big and wrong style for this car. You are not being "DIFFERENT" by getting these wheels, you are now just the same as everyone with big wheels.

VIP, more like VSD.

He had 20's ... but he just wasn't happy with them. Actually I was down at a local Wheel Shop, here in SoCal, and I saw the new 21in Brabus wheel on the W221. That actually looked REALLY good. Thanks again.
