Recalls & Service Campaigns are covered out of warranty at no cost to owner in addition some DTBs "may" qualify for goodwill assistance out of warranty ranging from substantial discounting to no out of pocket cost if a production range is documented (i.e.: VIN , engine # etc. range) and vehicle has a service history with any MB dealership.

P-B-83.10/108 JAN08 Water leakage into the passenger compartment may cause erroneous blower and A/C operation. CL (216) caused by blocked drain holes on the right and/or left sidewalls. S-Class (221) due to body tolerances, the left rear or right rear wheelhouse may leak. Moisture can penetrate the rocker panel on one and/or both sides. If the4 drain grommets do not open when moisture enters the rocker panel, moisture can enter the passenger compartment. The result of which is that control units, electrical connectors, and lines become damp. Have your dealer check your VIN in VMI to determine if your vehicle is involved in Service Campaigns 2008010002 and/or 2006020007 if not, then this DTB will apply.
S-B-46.30/21a FEB08 Grinding or gushing noises heard from the area of the steering system/power steering pump may be in the A/C compressor drive. Noise is present at both idle and higher engine speeds, can be heard whether the steering wheel is stationary or moving, and frequency increases with the engine speed.

Engines 272 and 273, MY 2005 – 2011 Camshaft Adjustment Solenoids - due to the settling properties of the seal, oil may leak from the camshaft adjustment solenoid dealers will retrofit four adapter harnesses onto the engine wiring harness. Covers any/all repairs due to damage from oil leak however, notes replacement of leaking camshaft solenoid is not permitted under consequential damage.
Approximately 557,108 vehicles are affected. Have dealer check VMI to determine if vehicle is included. Service Campaigns are covered out of warranty.

Recall 2013020002 FEB13 – X204, 204, 207, 212, 216, 221 model years 2011-2012 due to issues during molding process of supplier operating pressure & high operating temperatures may result in fuel leakage. Dealer will replace fuel filter. Approximately 5,773 vehicles affected – owners of affected vehicles will receive a letter, or you can have dealer check VMI to see if vehicle is involved.
