Yes but glass shops aren't the place you go to when you end up with wind noise.

You go get the $175 windshield...I'll go get the factory replacement and know that the on site dealer's installer is the one removing the trim of my $100K car and not some glass repairman trying to figure out how to do it.

There are a couple of different reasons why the replacement glass would be so expensive.

1. UV coating on the glass. (with gaps so Radar, etc.)
2. Rain Sensor connections.
3. Night Vision (If installed)
4. Plus potentiall others... Radio, etc.

Plus just like every other manufacturer, they jack up the price a little.

I think you would be crazy to replace the glass anywhere else, especially when you consider warranty issues.

Just asked the Lexus dealer how much for the windshield.

1400$.
-F- that, I don't know what it comes with, but I'm going to a buddy of mine and getting the 200$ installed glass.
