She was rude, and even shouted at my mother...... when I heard this....those that know me personally will obviously know already that I erupted on her - and my mom thought I was going to punch her...... I was shouting so loud that all the cars stopped in the street and people were looking from their houses....... She hit me........... and she is yelling at us?
Do not get me wrong: I grew up in a hot-headed part of the world and culture where tempers blow up sky high at the slightest provocation. While I have never hesitated or cowered in dispensing hell to people--and I mean exclusively male members of the group--who crossed me and did not allow me a way out, I would never, ever allow myself to yell to an older woman. Consider yourself lucky her son was not in your vicinity!
Again, I hope your jewel of a benz is back to shining like new!

and for the person that posted above you - she was in her 50s........ or late 40s....... and got out of the car with an attitude to begin with - so ill scream as loud as i want - especially if she raises her voice to my mother. I am not concerned about others..... if her son was around and tried to do something to me - i think he'd have come to the conclusion that its unwise to pick a fight with someone that will first warn him that any actions on his part will result in 25 NYPD officers learning his name and remembering his car.

I hate to be a downer and I know it's kind of 'wrong' but the car with more damage on it usually is the safer car to be in as that means the car is absorbing the energy from the impact.
Not to say the Mercedes didn't, I'm sure it did but under the bumper.
I'd rather total a Land Cruiser than just have a bumper removal in a Yukon... it's about the tranfer of energy and where it gets dissapated to. The occupant -- or the car.

Thanks! MB Manhattan is doing the repair - so considering they are the only Factory Dealership in America............ The car should look as though it were brand new after its complete..............

We Just got the police report today - so we have to confirm it. The thing is - the police report has all her contact info - driver liscence, address.. and i have her plates, so if she ever gave incorrect info - my police friends can trace the plates to her - and then she is in a heap of trouble.......
Anyway,it could always be worse so let it go.

From the look of the POS that hit you, be glad she has insurance!!!!!! Hope you don't find out that her policy lapsed? It's amazing how many losers don't drive with any, even with the huge fines. That they don't pay when issued. Good luck people like her should be visited by the boys.

Repairs will start soon - I am going tomorrow (SATURDAY) at 8:30am to Geico (her insurance) which is only 10 minutes from my house. They will look at the bumper - dunno why they have too....... and then ill have MB call them up to come over if the damage is MORE than the estimate.
Will talk to them about rental car and depreciation......

LOL! Be aware that a bunch of angry Russian dudes with connections up the wazoo may prove to be a harder crowd to deal with than 25 NY cops--these dudes don't play by the rules and they especially don't take well to anyone messing with their women. I applaud your sense of being invincible, but do not outrun your luck. Good manners and overall class can go a long way towards a comfortable existence.
