Black opal is a good color too!! I saw pictures of one on an SL55. The pictures had the contrast tweaked up a bit, but man, did it look amazing.

I honestly recommend you go look at it in person. I have black opal on stone in my clk, and it looks great. I got black on biege on the s550 because that was the only car with the options i wanted. I dont think it looks bad.
