I like the metallic look of the mystic white. Can I special order it without having to take the rest of that package. How much would it cost for just the paint?

As far as I know you can't. You can order the entire package and roll it back, but that'll cost even more as you'll have to buy the designo and then buy the regular stock items again. I presume its not that you don't like the rest, you just don't want to pay for it. Well, MB kind of intentionally keeps you in their group of colors and interiors (3 choices) unless you are willing to go with the special designo options. So, yeah, the designo gives you a bit more uniqueness, but you aren't going to get it unless you're willing to pay for it.

I think there is even an issue if you have to repaint the panel. I don't know how that is handled as it isn't a single color for a bodyshop to use to match.

The Mystic white is a Designo listed option and can be had spearately with the basic interior packages or the designo interior options as the same as all other W221 options.

I have it and it is nice although Lexus had it for quiet long time now. Be careful though that if you get small scratches due to road small stones for instance, touch up will not work because they show clearly no matter how professional the job was. Touch ups work perfectly on the Alabaster white and you will have hard time trying to distinguish the scratch once touched up but not on the Mystic white which unfortunately you might end up painting the whole part if you are picky about the perfect look of your car.

The price I was charged for the Mystic white exterior color only was $ 3000.

In Canada and the rest of the world, you can order Designo specifications separately, but not in America. They only come in packages.

I just ordered a mystic white designo because of the interior That is the highest quality and most elegant interior I have ever seen. I was sold after seeing it in person, even chose it over a s63. The porcelain designo leather with stitched leather everywhere is worth every penny, then add the alcantara headliner and the piano black trimmings.... It is truly beautiful. Can't wait to get it, but not looking forward to cleaning that porcelain leather all the time though. But it looks amazing, the detail is unbeatable.

CARSANY...you will love it. I can't even begin to tell you how happy I am with my designo. I saw the Maybach S58 at the NY Auto Show last year, it was white w/the black piano laquer...so sick.
