John V., you're saying the 750i handling is more fun than the CL55? And to double-check, the 03 CL55s do have full ABC with AMG sport tuning? I ask because I was also very impressed with handling of the 750 (L) on a test drive, and am hoping that the S63 I have on order will match or exceed the 750's road feel. If it doesn't, I may have to go with a 760 instead of the S63.

Thanks,
Paul

Yes the CL55 does have ABC Sport. The car just felt real heavy in the corners, not saying that the 7 isn't heavy but it feels like it wants to hug the road. The 7L might be a bit different though. From what I hear it's handling is not quite as good as the short wheel base. I find that Benz's are more luxurious and BMW's are more of a drivers car.

Take both for a good test drive to make your final decision.

Just took out the Charcoal filters and replaced my air filters with K&N's in my 750i. The throttle response is much better. Sure some of you have a 7 and might wanna try it as well. Doesn't hurt to add a few more ponies for $100.

probably Audi does not even have a proper exterior design team... don't really understand why they have the same look, especailly the same front grille for all of their models... what's so good about the grille anyway? it's such a plain design.. audi is probably the very last choice for me to buy a car..

Welcome to the darkside! at the end of the day, MB is a more luxury, while a BMW is more performance. its either one or the other. so if your going to be the person driving, then stick with BMW. if your being driven, stick with the MB. thats my conclusion.
