Spur of the moment buy. new S550
Hey everyone. OK, so today i took a trip to fletcher jones just to LOOK. not to BUY. I saw this sweet looking s550 and of course my salesmen is trying to get me to buy it... and..i did. haha 
It's a 2007 Arctic White S550 with Savana leather. VERY limited options though
, P1, wood steering wheel, back up camera. But it has lots of nice aftermarket parts. 21" chrome rims with Pirelli tires, lowering module, trunk spoiler and two tv's in headrests with two dvd players. The aftermarket parts that SHOULD be installed next week are, Brabus door knobs, Brabus under lighting (puddle lights), Brabus illuminated door sills and Brabus sport gas pedals. Also possibly upgraded ECU.
I put $10,000 down on this beauty for a 36 month lease. Payment INCLUDING tax is $1479. The aftermarket parts that were already installed are included in the lease.
I LOVE this car. Even with the 21" rims the ride quality is still PERFECT. Abousutely amazing car. I don't have any pictures of it right now (car was delivered to my house at 9pm today
) but i will get some pics tomorrow.

Naw, you'll be ok because truthfully, you currently drive a CLS55 AMG and a SL500. So you have ABC in the SL, and the sheer power of the CLS.
Its ok to have a car with fewer options because at this point, its really about how fine that S looks. For me, its my only car, so i wanted it to be as loaded as possible.

meh. my dad has the S550. I wasnt too impressed when he came home with it and said: "Son, im married to this for the next three years". actually i was heartbroken....i wanted him to get an M6. you know how depressing that is when you see a boat like car pull up in the driveway when you were anticipating an M6? it really, really, REALLY was devastating. but putting aside its copy-cat looks from the mabach (which i hate), it is a lovely car, im sure ur going to enjoy it. i have not a complain aside from its looks!
Ride quality is excellent, but i dont like how when you push the pedal you dont feel the acceleration. its not safe because if you dont keep your eye on the spedometer you can easily over do it. my dad has found himself doing 100+ by accident. i dont know, the car needs a HUD or something. or it could just be our driving style? but love the car!
