Bodykit FOR S
Hi guys, i have debate this with my friend for long.
This forum may have the answer,
Many said overall AMG sport package bodykit is better than the 63 kit.
The front 63 looks too much for S class
Just AMG SP rear that only fit 2 oval pipe is funny for big car.
Any comment ??

AMG kit for the S550 is exactly the same as the AMG kit for the 63 except for those little "cuts" in the side of the front bumper.....

they're not that identical, although very similar. the AMG bumpers (S63, S65) come to a sharper point in the middle up front than the AMG package (S550). The air vents around the fog lights are a little bit different, as the S63 and S65 bumpers are more 'squared' at the edges than the S550 AMG package bumper. Plus, the extra vented 'cutouts' that wolverine mentioned. The sides are too hard to tell, and the rears are the same I believe except that the rear diffuser on the S63/S65 has more space cut out for the quad exhaust.
it would be possible, but costly to retrofit the quad to the S550.

from what i understand, in europe this sometimes a distinction between "AMG Package" (which is what we have) and "Full AMG Package", which often gives the extras that the regular one does not.
For example, the quad pipes may be included in the 'full' package (not available in the US). For the M-Class, on a ML320/500/350, in europe you can get the "full AMG package" that will get you the 20s that come with the ML63 as well as the added running boards and fender flares. The 'regular' one (like my car) doesn't come with that stuff.
i was only talking about the US in my previous post, just to make sure everyone's on the same page

In the U.K the S320CDi with the AMG package does not have straight through exhausts.

'07 MB Lorinser S550, '06 MB R350, '04 Porsche 911 cabriolet
What do you think about doing a Lorinser rears, side skirts with 63/65 front? The AMG's are all to common. It is thin (top - bottom dimension) and has high stance compared to Lorins. The AMG design concept becomes almost standard when MB's are on the end of its model cycle. i.e 2006 entire S class line up bear an AMG style, so is the current C class. The Lorins on the other hand, has a low stance, trendy rear exhaust outlets, have you notice the trend now of modern rears like LS 460, 911 turbo, Rs8, even Acura TL.
Lorins has fat butt 911 turbos become famous for. But Lorins front bumper IMO, looks awful. These is where the AMG 63/65 comes to the rescue. Its muscular lines look beastly. So guys what do you think of this combination?

the other option is to get the AMG kit, and replace the rear diffusor with a 63 Diffusor and go with the WALD quad muffler system for your car. It is a very nice sounding exhaust system.
