Top Gear Features NEW S-Class!
I test drove the S550 just yesterday and since then have not been able to get this beautiful car out of my mind. Then I go and sit down to watch a little TV and notice a NEW TOP GEAR episode that my DVR recorded just an hour ago featuring the NEW S! I think it's a sign...I must get this car! 
So Jeremy Clarkson talks about all the new gadgets it has and how MB's S-class was the first car to have airbags etc. but then he starts complaining about the interior not being something he is fond of so he takes an older S model and has it gutted and puts in things you would have in your home to make you feel at home I guess. 
From wood flooring to a functioning fireplace and a mini "wing-back chair!" That guy is crazy!
Anyone else see the episode?

PS This car is really getting under my skin...in a good way!

Star in a reasonably priced car: Ewan McGregor, 1:48:00.
Challenge: Hammond races against a British army parachuter in Cyprus with a Porsche Cayenne Turbo S, and as usual, the parachuter won. After the race, Hammond crashes the car with the film crew's car.
Review: The new Mercedes-Benz S-Class - the future of motoring. Clarkson tested the new S-Class both as a review and to see what features every car will have in ten years as has historically happened.
Challenge: Clarkson then went about designing his own interior of a car. He bought an old Mercedes-Benz S-Class and designed his perfect interior based upon his house. The car, dubbed "Anne Hathaway's Cottage," features a wood-burning stove, kitchen chairs, a flagstone floor and wood with a cement base, and plastered insides of the doors. James May and Richard Hammond then tested the car. No seatbelts and unsecured seats meant they went flying at first, however eventually, with May holding Hammond's seat, a 0-60 time of 35.4 seconds was established.
Lap time, take two: The Koenigsegg CCX is now equipped with a rear spoiler and is taken around the track with a new lap time of 1:17.6; overthrowing the Zonda F. The presenters were so proud of the time, they stated that not only do they present the show, but they are also designing the cars

yeah, that was definitely a re-run. the new season of fifth gear just started back up over the weekend. god i wish someone in the US would start up something like fifth gear or top gear. autoweek is like watching ketchup "run" downhill.

Awe, man! I was wondering why a new episode came on on a Monday
My DVR is set to record any Top Gear shows that come on the BBC, so the new ones come on Saturday, right? It was neat to see this one on the S-class though!
