NevadaJack's S550?
That must be sad for NJ to see that.
I never did find out who bought my S500

Isnt it a bit akward for NJ to know what the profit margin of the dealer will be ?
They gave me $21K for my S500... imagine if i saw it on ebay for $48,000 lol
Did they do well on that auction? I would never ask NJ ( or anyone) what kinda trade in value they got - but I dont mind telling.
I know I could have made more off the car by selling privately, but this was just a spur of the moment purchase, and I wanted it to be done easily, and my parents told me to hurry up because they didnt want me to expect to borrow their cars while I searched.
Asian - I didnt want to start a new thread - and I dont mean to HIJACK yours - but did you ever see this video?

Based on the softness of the market, $86K may be a reach but they have to start somewhere. I would think it will go in the low $80's. They will turn a nice profit but they were fair with me on the trade and more than fair on the GL550 discount.
I have just purchased Jack's "old" S550. I have always admire at how beautiful Jack's S550. His photo skill is amazing and really capture the beauty of this vehicle. And, I am so happy that I can purchase this car. I am skeptical to buy a preowned because I worry about the history of the car. But this car, although I do not know Jack personally (yet), but I feel like I know all the history of this one and confident this is a very good car.
I am having it ship to me and I should be getting it next week, really can't wait to see it.

You will absolutely love this car...great handling and performance and as smooth as silk. I wish you all the best with it. We will be looking for more posts from you.
BTW...check the right rear fender and see if they got all the dents out...LOL...just kidding. The car is a virgin and 6000 miles of the mileage is a cross country trip so you really have only about 8000 miles of city driving on it in over 17 months.
Yeah I am very excited right now. It is very rare to know where your "old" car went after traded with the dealer, but the same truth that it is very rare to know where your "new" car from when purchase a preowned from a dealer. I feel like I am buying from a old friend. I basically click "Buy it Now" on ebay when I see Jack's reply on this board and confirmed it is his old car. So no dealing is require. I know I may be able to get a few grands cheaper somewhere else, but the price I paid I feel is worthwhile when I know this car is from Jack.
Greg at Westminster is great, the service is excellent. I will highly recommend this dealership. Everthing is taken care of professionally and fast.
I love photo taking, but I am only a beginner. I have to spend more time to improve my skill when my busy work scheldule allow. And yeah, I can show off my car using Jack's photos. Actually, if Jack do not mind, I actually would like to get a copy of those original non-compressed digital picture files that you have taken for this car. Thanks!

But yea - I am usually sensible, although I don't know why I was driving that fast.
