Yeah I agree, the one on the TV show I saw today was painted silver and black, it looked much better. But the design is sweet.

Now if only the factory made that car. The CL is goofy looking but that coupe is amazing. The muscular lines of the S-Class really work well in a coupe.
That coupe does not look like a toyota solara like the current CL.

How do you know they do terrible work compared to the factory finish?
If you're refering to the matte black finish..that was intentional and for affect,
and it has a sinister gangster car vibe to it.
West Coast Customs does better than factory paint jobs. I dunno where you're getting your information from.

Personally, the car reminds me of the maybach exelero.
Amazing coupe. Way better than the new CL

the pillar doesn't look smooth and angled right, and that's just the looks! WCC is able to accomplish crazy things like waterfalls in the car and other stupid ****, but the QUALITY of their work is never performed meticulously or done to perfection. btw while they were at it they should've just made the room a hard-top convertible.

The doors should have been made as gullwings as I bet that door gets banged up quite a bit from being hard to handle in tight parking spaces (not that I would park it anywhere near another car). But leave it to some moron that would park right next to me 300 yards from a storefront!

Anyone have the photoshop pictures that one guy made when the W221 first came out? He drew a W221 in a 2 door form, that was the most amazing design I had ever seen. MBZ shoulda made that the CL.

I remember seeing a similar picture just like that, but with a hardtop but can't find it anywhere on his site. If I remember correctly, the hardtop version looked more aggressive. Also, there was talk here about the really low roof, so I can't be making up a mental image...

What I would really like to see is an S class with a CL 216 front. I know this was done on the previous model. Anyone do it on the current body?
