Michael Clayton's S550 (** spoilers **)
==============================
I just watched Michael Clayton last night, and immediately noticed the S550 parked on the street while he was playing poker inside the building.
Here's what I learned from the movie:
1. Your S-Class can be hacked to allow bad guys to use their key FOB to unlock it.
2. It is possible to install a bomb and a tracking system in your car within minutes.
3. If your illumination feature is turned off (or not working), your headlights won't be left on after a bad guy just locks the door just before you get back to your car.
4. While driving, the nav screen will start to flicker since it was tampered with.
5. The S550 is fun to drive through country roads, and all 4 wheels will rise above the ground as it flies over humps.
6. When it blows up, you won't shed a tear for it, if it was on a company lease... especially with a company that's trying to screw people over.

, saw it on a long-haul flight but lost some of it because of sleepy eyes.I wonder if MB sponsored this film, the flickering screen does not really fit in that case
But the car blew up... was it sponsored? MI3 had a Gallardo that blew up, but I don't know if Lambo sponsored that or not...
I am very pleased with the new/improved vehicles from Mercedes in recent years, and have seen the cars in various movies.
* Jurassic Park 2: (then) new ML truck
* X-Men movie: new S-Class, old S-Class, GL truck
* Devil Wears Prada: new S-Class
* new National Treasure movie: new C-Class
and I saw this in a Hindi movie, probably not sponsored though:
* Don: new SLK car chase scene! :-)
The SLR was in the crappy Eddie Griffin movie, but that wasn't sponsored either.

* SLR: [MO JOE] silver on black, very nice showcase for this car. The kid complains that there is no back seat, so the air bag could hurt her. The Rock responds by giving her a helmet. Methinks that the weight sensor would automatically shut off the airbag if a child sits in the passenger seat, right?

* R-Class: [#1 DAD] a feeble attempt at advertising the so-called "sports tourer". In the movie, they call it a "Station Wagon" several times, and try to emphasize that a reluctant father needs one of these to keep his children safe and happy.
Not once did they call it an "SUV" as Mercedes like to label it, because the movie audience wouldn't buy into that. And they definitely didn't call it a "minivan", which Mercedes probably wants to stay away from.
So... was the Game Plan sponsored by Mercedes-Benz?

But yeah, the Japanese Yakuza in the film drive CLS's near the middle of the movie. They're not AMG's though, sadly!
