Pictures of my New 2008 S550 !
I replaced my 2007 E63 to a new 2008 S550, here are some pictures I took yesterday !

I'll be picking up mine tomorrow!! I'm a little nervous..... and excited
I wish it would come with those Brabus MB VI's that I want
Unfortunately, there's no Brabus shop here in Austin - I'll have to have the rims and lowering module shipped to me. Maybe I'll ask the dealship tomorrow - if they can install the lowering module
I guess we'll see.

I picked up my car yesterday....
Obsidian Black / Savanna-Cashmere int (P3, wood steering, AMG pak, iPod kit).
Okay now let me go back to reading the 1000 pg. owners manual.
Just kidding.
I have to go back and watch the MB/Harmon Kardon DVD
Will post pics. in the next few days.
I have to say, the gap betw. the tires and wheel well is not as bad as I thought.... Ofcourse, I didn't know that there was a switch to lower and raise the car either!!

i also picked up my new 08 s550 4matic,and i must say its quite a car.I have had a number of BMW 7 series and this my first MB.On what i have seen so far the MB is hands down a much better car.The fit and finish on the MB is perfect.Time will tell all,but hell i never keep them over 3 years anyway,so i will just enjoy the ride.

Just ordered a set of 21" Lorinser RS8, it will arrive this friday ! So excited ! Will post some pics once I got it !

The 21" Lorinser RS8 I ordered arrived yesterday ! Tinted windows and bumper side markers painted black will be next !

yes - that came out of me really quick!
That is such a stunning pair of wheels... It really makes the car look EXTREMELY aggressive - and just SO classy at the same time.
I would be truly surprised if ANYONE feels different...
A few questions!!!
1) How is the ride on 21s? Did it get sportier? Bumpier?
2) How much if you don't mind me asking were the wheels / tires together? (since you had to get 21" tires to wrap around the wheels)
3) Are you sure you want to tint the windows? The metallic glaze almost gives it a richer look...thats just my opinion...

Actually the ride on the 21s is not that bad ! It is better than I thought !
The price on wheels and tires together is about $5800 with Michelin PS 2 which I think is very good.
