navi update dvd
I want to update the navi on my 2007 S550. Does anyone have a used dvd for sale since we only have to install it once to the hard disk? I know there was one floating around a while ago, but I haven't seen any lately.
Also what is the part number for the latest update to the navi?
Thanks

Guys, this could end up to Navteq selling one disc per each update they release. What would you think it would cost then? If Trump bought this disc, would he share it for others ![naughty](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/naughty.gif)
As long as you trade discs (and continue using the content on the navi HD), I would avoid publicity, say MB would figure out how common this is and would introduce a VIN lock to the discs...

How much should the DVD cost from the dealer? I remember with our 01 S600, I called around for the map CDs and got a different price from every dealer. Thanks.

Great thanks, just ordered one. Hopefully the update will fix the keyless go "do not forget the key" chime.

US owners can buy the map DVD directly from Navteq, should be $199.

The best way for us MBWorld-ers to do this is to buy one DVD and circulate it...especially since the W221s write the DVD to a hard disk and then don't require the DVD any more.
There was also someone who said they were posting the DVD as an ISO online, but I guess that never materialized.
