They should have at least placed a single vertical chrome strip down the center of the grille to divide the mesh into two halves. Regardless, I find it hard to believe they did this to this car and it hasn't even been sold yet (new car sticker on the windshield).
The chrome around the grille should have been left alone and not blacked out.

Hate it. A case study in how a small change can totally ruin the integrity of the overall design. Cheap and tacky.

Quite the hack job. How to ruin a perfectly good car with one's idea of "design" . You have to give Mercedes credit as their designs have evolved over the years. Totally changing a factory car with this grille makes it look like ****.

I think, forums are the best places to get good opinions and ideas. However, in the real world, there are still many people who are willing to pay thousands of dollars to get something, that to many others may look the uglyest thing ever.
I drive a lot, and sometimes I see vehicle with some mods, that want to make me open my window and throw up. But then I think about it, He bought that, beause he thinks it looks cool. and most likely in his eyes, I am an idiot without a good taste.
we watch celebrities on the red carpet. and when you look at his or her dress, and first comes to your mind is, WTF they were thinking? But, they paid tons of money for it to their designers. and they are the only ones who is wearing it, and it's different then every one elses.
