2010 S600 sold
The car looks nice.
I was wondering why you didn't get the S65 instead? With all the time and money you put into a S600, it would seem that a stock S65 would have been a better bet.

When you are married, the 'family' needs to be happy. Although, I liked S65, the seats seemed / felt more aggressive. My family felt that S600 seats were much more comfortable. When I found out that I could install AMG kit on S600, there was my decision made.
Cheers!!

Can you tell me more about your floor mats?? The color combo is amazing. I saw your car on river rd before and was very confused. Any specific reason for removing the badges since then?

Regarding the badges, I first saw the S-Classes without the badges in Belgium and really liked those. I am happy I removed those. I think it looks much classier; just as I like
Thanks again for the remarks. See you around!!

Looks great. Looks like you did your exhaust too.
What brand did you go with? and does it cause any unwanted noise when just cruising?

I used the original S63 exhausts. They just fit perfectly. In fact, there is a complete AMG Accessories guide that lists all AMG accessories made by MB for all models. You can download it from www.mercedes-amg.com. I have also attached the section that is specifically for the S-Class.
Hope this helps!!
Cheers!

So did you call up your local mercedes parts division and order the amg-parts? I am thinking of doing the exhaust on my S550 (to quad ovals as listed in the amg-mercedes parts list, but not sure of the best way to start this. I already have the AMG packaging on my s550, so in my mind it's really just the exhaust baffle, and the black cutaway that would attach to the rear bumper that has the cutouts for the 4 ovals.

I spent the better part of yesterday morning at the Body shop that my mercedes dealer outsources their work to as well as talking to my local mercedes parts department trying to see if I could get this sorted out, and have to say I am not left with warm fuzzy feelings that it could be pulled off properly. I had my laptop in had with photos and part numbers, but both are claiming that it's not guaranteed to work..
So at this point, I am probably not going to bother with the project.

Unbelievable! MB dealerships not wanting to work on MB's
