Thanks for the response. I just figured out today that the launch of the S63 was a MY08. I had thought that it was introduced as a my07. Would you be hesitant to go with an 08 S63 as a fist year edition where many things could go wrong or would you rely on the previous year's trial and errors with its sibling the S550 and assume the glitches have been addressed in an 08 car.
I am looking at an 08 S63 with Mysic White designo package &P3 and rear seat package. MSRP was $154. Currently the car has 17K miles and the asking price is mid. $80s. This car has a realy nice color combo. Initially I was in the market for a MY09 S550 Key to the Cure edition which has a very similer color combo as the Mystic white designo. The 09 S550 key to the cure is also in the mid $80s but with 10K miles. I am willing to trade down with the age of the car but I'm afraid of reliability with early production S63.

It is the best color combo you should go for it,get an extended warranty as you know repairs are very pricey.
