Please everyone, stay away. I got my new set of Asanti af 132 on today, and no rubbing what so ever. Perfect fit in every sense. I have been buying aftermarket wheels for all of my cars, and I must admit from personal experience, ASANTI'S are the best!!!

There was a tv news channel that featured a story of a guy driving a 7 series bimmer that had his wheels desinagrate while he was driving with his family. I'm sure they improved since that.

Quite honestly, I'd be VERY skeptical about buying ANY after market wheels - too much fluff involved. If you do want to purchase, you better make sure you SEE the wheels first and then make sure the installer is reputable, experienced and VALUES your business.
Trust me - I speak from experience. Check out my posts. I thought Brabus was a great reputable co. I was dead wrong. They talk the sales talk till you're blue in the face and then once it's installed and you have issues the whole ball game changes. It's like "what"? "who did you say your were"![smash](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smashfreak.gif)

don't get me wrong, once you change the dynamics of a factory setting there are bound to be issues. The main issue with sevas is offset's. Then comes the quality of the wheels. The wheels I recieved had indents on the lips, and the paint of the face were off and the lines weren't even straight. There were already chips in the paint. The holes drilled for the tpms were to big and air was leaking and we tried many ways to patch the surrounding of the holes but no luck. The quality say versus Asanti's are literally day and night. You can see the quality down to the bolt. STAY AWAY FROM SEVAS!!! Also customer service is as lousy as everyone else, maybe even worse!!!

sorry to hear that bro...i was thinking about ordering the sevas forged R5 for my benz. Which kind of rims did you have? Could you not have returned them thru their warranty? I have heard alot of horror stories about sevas but thought it was only on their older rims and not the forged ones....
let me know....

What shop did you get your wheels from? Maybe it was the installer that drilled the TPMS holes them selves. Asanti's are OK, but honestly not the best. But truthfully, I would not mess with Sevas either. Too much bad news floating around about them.

Sevas,
You seem to have a lot more negative feedback than companies like HRE, 360 forged, and others. I think you people are putting the lives of others on the road at great risk and should be investigated by the DOT, NHTSA, and the IIHS.

The holes were drilled by sevas. I've dealt with many wheel companies in the past, so thats the reason why I feel Asanti's are best in MY opinion. I tried many other wheels on my other cars which are a f430, viper, and at the end I still end up with Asanti's.

If you had a problem since day 1 you should have contacted us. Paint also comes with one year warranty as long as it was not caused by your installer or chipped by an object. You have had the wheels for months and say wheels where dented but why would you have put them on? if you have a problem and its under warranty we will cover it with no problem.We have hundreds of satisfied customers and if there is something wrong and covered by our warranty we will be more then happy to take care of it in a timely matter. If you have any questions you should contact us at sales@sevaswheels.com

Dont get me started on Sevas. The worst part of the wheel is the finish....The black paint chipped on all 4 rims and the lip is the biggest piece of crap..When u first get the rims the lip looks chrome but after couple washes and time the rim looks like ***...I have only had these rims for a year and the worst part is washing your beautiful car and looking at a pair of dirty rims that you spent an hour cleaning...If me and others are taking the time out of our day to write negative reviews there is a problem with SEVAS..DO NOT PURCHASE

Don't get me started either........they're worthless. I responded to a thread on here a few months ago regarding SEVAS (do a search and you'll find it)- My experience with them was a complete disaster and I ended up waiting over 100 days for a set of wheels that I was told would take 3-4 weeks. I never received them and ended up having to have my CC company dispute the charge. At the end of the day, they don't give a ratz azz about their customers, and, from what I hear they make a less than average wheel too- so, I'm actually glad I never received them. Everything happens for a reason, right?
I ended up going with 'Forgiato'- hands down the best wheel manufacturer I've ever dealt with.

This all reminds me of that big story a year ago about Adam at Evotech and those cousins that had a horrible experience with them. Whatever happened to that situation I wonder?
