My 85 year old mother had a white S550. looked good for her. But I always thought white was a feminine color. My wife's ML350 is white.

just traded my black on black S550 2008 for it. extremely hard to keep clean, also shows swirl marks very easily. white with cashmere is to me a very eye pleasing color minus the dirt..
Not to hurt any one's feelings
............... but if you just take a look on the road when you are driving and see which gender of the human race drives white and which drive black, it'll sink in.Clue: a large majority of white cars are driven by women. Men drive black cars.
That being said, it's all a matter of personal taste and where you live. Here in the south, black is very popular. Highest resale value. I used to be a silver fanatic - all my previous cars were silver. I finally realized that nothing beats a beautifully detailed black S-Class. If you use the right detailing products (and this probably goes for any car), it's hard to compete with how a black S could look. I'll post some pics this weekend (if I get the time) of my freshly detailed S63. FWIW - my neighbor just bought an AM DB9. Black! Looks stunning.

no offense Austin, that is not a survey but your opinion.
R U Saying Once U Go Black U Cant Go Back .. Ha Ha
He says far and away most S classes sold are black - and most buyers are men.
The white S class' he's sold went mostly to women buyers/drivers.
And Iridium silver, and Barolo red, are the least sought after colors.
An admittedly unscientific survey.
