Those are the ugliest things I've ever seen.

 

actually, if you just painted the whole wheel matte black it would look okay (just need to get rid of the silver/chrome lining). Since the spokes are thin wouldnt be a bad idea for a BBK

 

Or all brushed aluminum /chrome. I think the wiggly outer outline is what makes them look strange.
I can't seem to visualize how these wheels would look while going down the road.

I'm not sure what is new about black/chrome rims. Those may have just started on the west coast but they passed through the midwest 3 years ago. Those rims are hideous...money can't always buy you style.

those rims got beat with a very large ugly stick.

i live in orange county and drive around quite a bit and i have never seen quite as fugly set a wheels on such an expensive car. trends do start out here but many like the set on your car die out here too bro, sorry for your loss.

 

Actually like what was said earlier in this thread, having them resurfaced might bring them out to be nice wheels. It's just the fact that the outer squiggly edge is the only chromed area that makes them look weird. If I had them, I'd get someone to strip them and make them look like polished aluminum or even have them chromed/painted. The cost might be prohibitive though.

 

No offense, but I don't think much starts in OC, most is trickle down from LA.

How would these wheels look on a white S550? I doubt they could look any uglier ....

 

if the silver went SMOOTHLY around in just a circle it would look better.
