I have a 2008 S600 and i've been debating whether or not i should get the windows tinted for quite some time now. As you know the sungate windows on the current MB models have a sorta blue tint to it already. I wasn't sure how it would look. my first question would be if i were to get a tint what percent i should get it at to keep the classy look because i think the blue tint from the sungate windows give the car a nice look in the sun? And also if anyone has gotten their s-class tinted and whether they regretted it or not?

 

yes I got it tinted and I love it. i have a white S550 with #25 on all side windows and #15 on the rear.

I've got huperoptik tint and love it!! 30 windshield 40 side 50 rear. The blue still stands out on a bright sunny day but at night since the interior is black it looks really nice and dark (but not enough for the police to pull you over)

I got my 08 S65 AMG tinted 15% all around (except windshield) and I love it!

I get ALL my cars tinted...I can't drive my car w/o it!

 

I need to get mine done. I have a local shop within a mile of me that does great work. 30% is as far as our laws allow.

Here's a close up.... In reality it has more of a greenish black hue. I absolutely love the color. Looks very original. Not too dark

 

A light tint always gives a nice touch

 

we have 30% charcoal Llumar ATX tint on the designo mocha...it looks AMAZING!
