Hey new here! My name is Sonny and im from Roseville, CA (25 east of sac). I just recently got an 08 S550 a couple of weeks ago. Its capri blue with savanna/cashmere int. Options: p2, rear view monitor, wood steering wheel, rear side window sunblinds, rear seat pkg, amg sport pkg,
pano roof, ipod kit
The wheels are 22" Ace Executive with Pierelli tires. The sideskirts, rear bumper apron, roof spoiler, and decklid spoiler are all by Wald.
Please share opinions on it if you want... good or bad.... its cool.
I know i need to lower it but i dont know which elm to go with. I want to lower it as much as i can without having rubbing problems.

Welcome Cap!
I love the capri blue on Savanna/Cashmere. In fact I was torn between that and the majestic black when I was shopping around....
You asked for opinions, so here are mine:
1) As I said - love the color.
2) Don't quite care of the rims - don't know what it is - whether it's the bright chrome or just the design.....Me thinks that on an S, you're better off going for an aggressive look with an alloy color and one that does not accentuate the rotors - especially when you go > 20". When you do that, the rotors start to look puny.
3) Not sure I like your floor mats. Try exactmats.com. They have exact fitting mats for the S that don't spill over the sides.
4) When you go > 20" wheels you probably would need to lower the car, but I'm not a big fan of doing that. From what I hear if you lower the car you end up compromising the suspension and overall warranty.
Enjoy!

Looks classy, nice job. How is the ride on the 22's compared with the stock wheels? I have 19" on my car and even 20" concern me regarding ride and potential for bending a rim or getting a flat tire. Did you consider this going to the 22" and or what did you do to mitigate the potential problems?

The ride on 22s is very smooth... its not too far off stock. Its definitely worth it. Yes you can potentionally bend a rim, but thats if you're not careful driving it. Just be careful of potholes, bad roads, etc and you'll be fine.
