I need tint & rim ideas for my '09 S550 4matic AMG
Hey Guys,
I live in NYC and an 2009 S550 4matic here is not abnormal, and I want mine to stick out by adding rims and a tint. Any ideas on a model rims and what level tint (or what ever its leveled by from lightest to darkest) could make it jump from the norm? She's pearl white btw. (lol) Pics of the model rims would be awesome
I know you guys are professionals and I admire your knowledge of mercedes.

PS: The real reason why I want this work done the the S class is because my girlfriend though she saw me with another girl. It was obviously another guy with the same car. So I wanna prove her wrong, haha.

Your right white S class's are a dime a dozen in our neck of the woods. As far as wheels I would recommend lorinser RS8 in 21". I think 22" are too big for new york roads.

i have white s550 Amg in nyc also and the tint is a nice touch... my dealership actully did it for me. dont go past 30 % thats about all u need. and as for rims go to the vossen website the have nice collection and and even smoother touch would be painting them white... trust me it woudl look hot

The best wheels on the 221 in my opinion, especially on a white w/ pano are the AMG perf. package wheels but they are like 6k if you can find a take off set. If that is out of your budget their are replicas that look very similar but the windows of the wheels aren't quite the same finish as the AMG ones. You can get gunmetal grey or matte black or all silver. They run from 8-1200 depeneding on size.
I have to ask though, your girlfriend must have been in or atleast seen what your car looks like prior to these changes you want to make (shes your gf, right?) so how do you think changing your car after-the-fact will make her think it wasn't you? Just curious how that was all gunna work there. Haha, GL

I love u guys. Btw, my gf thought it was me in the car, i want my s550 to be notably different so that confusion wont happen again haha.
