Probably not - Maybe frame/unibody damage, its below avg which you dont want to get into, high mileage out of warranty, I dont understand why it went for so high actually

The car is three years old and is driven between April and November. 19K is a lot of miles?

I'm looking for S, but honestly, your price is a little high for this car from private owner. According to what I see, its very easy to buy 2007 CPO car with no more than 30-35K miles for $53-$55K. Dealer's asking price is from $55 to $60K. Don’t forget - CPO car will have warranty till 100K and dealer provides financing the same as for new car ( does not mean everybody needs it, but anyway).
Auction prices are even less.
Price of your car will go down even more considering new 2010 model is already at dealerships.

No offense...just my opinion....good luck selling it.

No offense taken.

My 2007 S class with the AMG sport package is still on the new car warranty and only has 19K miles. The car looks as good as any new 2009 S class on the floor at any dealership, it is truly perfect.

I thought the CPO is 100K miles but for only an additional 1 year? Maybe I am wrong. Anyways, this car has been babied and garaged since new and not driven on any New York city streets-all Florida/Wi highway miles. .

My price at the end of the day will most likely be in the mid $50's. Remember not all S550's for sale are the same quality wise.

I may also decide to keep it and possibly sell one of my other cars. Like I said, I just have to many vehicles and not the time to drive them. Thanks.

a car
You guys are so lucky....A 2007 S350 (read THREE FIFTY!!) here in Indonesia will cost you over USD 140,000 used regardless of the mileage. For $48k, all you will get here is a used Lexus RX300 from 2004....

Anyone have current '07 S550 Auction prices?

I'm figuring as the '10's start getting into full swing, it's just a matter of time (one or two months?) before prices take a nice plunder, I'm seeing CPO S550's with 40K going for mid-high $40's a bit, so I think the '10's being released should be seeing CPO '07's getting closer and closer to the high $30's.

I'd like to think the same way, but I don't think it's true.
First of all - I have not seen CPO for high $40K....especially with AMG package. All CPO i see are mid to high $50K's...not to mention that MB CPO actually does not make any sense because it for 1 year only.
High $30's we will see at the same time next year ( CPO ).
Realistically speaking - you can buy nice S550 at dealer's auction for $42K-$45K - this car will be about K30-K35 miles and it;s not going to be 4matic or AMG sport. 4Matic will be about 3-4 grand more. Anything else is luck.

Yeah that may be true. There's a really nice '07 S550 CPO with 40K Miles going for $47K out here, which can be a sign of low $40's to come soon.

With AMG Package it is a whole different story, and they definitely seem to command a higher Resale, which sucks for me if I'm in the market for a W221, since I need the AMG Package.

In the Midwest the 07 S550's with 40K miles are in the mid $50 range at sale. Not as many here as out west or east coasts.

the cpo is for 1 year or 100,000 miles but that is on top of the 4yr 50,000 mile warraty so a 2007 lets say bought in april of 2007, the warranty woud expire in aprill of 2012, so you still have alittle less than 3 years, remember the warranty does not start till the car is put into service.....

Most 07 S550's are close to being out of warranty, many were sold in early 06 as 07's. If you have not hit the 50K mile mark I would think most will hit the 4 year mark soon.

If I keep mine, I will buy the MBUSA extended warranty before my new car warranty expires. You can add an additional 3 years and up to 75K miles total. It basically makes the original new car warranty a 7/75 warranty. Yes, you can get an extended MB warranty...

I think it was around $3700 for the 7/75 zero deductible from MBUSA.
