Yes they are.

They almost never show tuning lamps on their site.

Hi everyone. For all those who have the OEM tailights set up with the crosswire (top to bottom method), can you please do us a favour and confirm whether or not any of the red LED's flicker intermittently on either side of the car when you put the car into reverse?

If anyone has experienced this issue already, any ideas of a fix? Thx.

No flicker, only differance is light intensity from top to lower rows of led. I actually think it looks better with the different light brightness.

Any ideas from anyone on how we can get red of the red led flicker on one side? Some posts back, people were talking about a resistor but no one went into detail over what the resistor was and how it needed to be connected and whether it would even address a problem like the one I am describing.

Thx.

People just need to be reassured that it will just work. They don't want to mess around with their 90k vehicle.

Just get it and install. Looks good.

Hi there - still looking for a solution to stop the flicker on the rear driver's side tail-light (passenger side working 100%). Come on guys - you are the experts - does no-one have a solution for this? Resistors get mentioned but no-one has specified what resistors are needed and instructions on HOW they get connected ....

PLEASE HELP!

I got mine from expresspart and have been very happy. Plug and play. The only difference is that all the rows (top 2) also light up with applying brakes. The OEM only the bottom 2 rows light up when the brakes are on

I like all 4 more because it lights up the sky's and the OEM should have had all 4 rows light up. Just my opinion but I would highly recommend them.

Hey Rob,

Were the lights true plug & play?

It's not that I don't trust anyone here, I'm just trying to confirm based on the advertisement on the website. So did you pick up your set for $390.00?

Does anyone know if there is a way of taking the plug and adding a resistor to the pins in a way that might avoid the flicker problem with ORIGINAL OEM LED tails when putting the car into reverse?

Resistors have been mentioned in this thread but no one seems to have shown how they would be wired up if at all with the tail-lights. Any ideas?

I installed these with no problems. Chris is correct, just buy them and enjoy. No errors on the dash either. Bhartv why screw around with it bro, just buy these plug and play type. No need to hack up your wiring harness.

Ive already purchased the OEMs not the aftermarket ones. everyone works fine apart from a flicker of the red LEDs On drivers side only when you reverse. Once again I ask does anyone have an idea if resistors could help and if so how would they be connected please? Thx.

Normally the resistors would be run in line to the power wire of the light with the other side tapped into a ground. This would reduce flicker as the car would see the correct resistance of the lamp and not flicker. Usually a load resistor would be the type to use in this case.

You should pull the schematic for the lamp and post, then one would be able to tell you which line to tap into. If it were me, I would just try to return those and buy the aftermarket, much easier to work with.

In any case I find the new rear lights an ugly cost savings option for the facelift (no need to have those painted parts with car colour). Just like the change to a single battery system. The facelift headlights would make sense.

installed my led tail lights from express parts.
has anyone had this problem? top brake light being out?
the bulb looks intact, just unsure why its not lighting up.

also installed error free license plate lamp, parking light, smoked side marker w/ led, and led fog light

Looks like a bad conection in the conector. Or a fabrication fault.
