Yes, I was just informed by the German seller that mine's on the way via DHL. I got a pair of new headlights, a new wiring kit, and check this *SEVEN* light modules... didn't know it's so hardcore

We'll see in a week or so if and when the goods is as promised...

I just bought a 2007 S550 with the amg sport package. Has anybody been able to update the front headlights and foglights to the 2010 style LED lights? I'm not sure if the new lighting will fit. If anybody has been able to do this, let us know where you got the parts and any issues with installation.

My 2010 taillights came in finally from Fed Ex, spent a couple of hours on them. So far i got all the lights to work properly, even ran the car for 20 minutes and did'nt get the upper half to shut down. but i get a rear side marker light out message, i will attempt more tomorrow wish me luck.
BTW: anyone did the rewire route and can help it would be appreciated.

That is weird!! I installed 3 cars all 2007 but no luck of getting the upper have to light up? Did u do anything? Or just unplug and plug? Also can I know how much did it cost u?

He might have bought a kit that came set up properly to work from the box.

I currently am doing a rewire to the lights myself, l paid around 600.00 for the pair.

Care to share how you do it? Did you just jump the wire for the upper row of the LED lights to the supply for the bottom row?

Because if you do that, it still won't be exactly like the 2010.

The 2010 lights only have the bottom row of the LED lights up during the day when you press the brakes. But at night, with the headlights on, both upper and bottom rows light up and became brighter when you press the brakes.

LOL, as you can see I've put a lot of thought into this....

Could the rear sidemarker out message stem from the fact that you jumped the upper row to the lower row causing a difference in load?

That's strange coz the sidemarkers have totally separate wiring from the brake lights....

...I emailed my guy from germany. I hope he will chime in.
