Something tells me that WSH isn't lying about what he owns, but hooolyyyyy crap some of his observations and posts are ridiculous. Just recently a member was asking about installing an AMG steering wheel or something and the guy goes off recommending the member buy a brand new S AMG instead. WTF?

lets not forget that he thinks the Panamerica has poor reliability and engineering flaws (since its been out for so long), and thinks the lexus LS460 is unsafe.

I don't have any desire to ignore him, but for once I'd like to see him actually defend a point as opposed to throwing out some ridiculous statement, and then hiding out for a week or so, and then doing it again.

Thats like if I said: The hyundai Genesis is a far better car than the S-Class.

And then disappeared, only to say something similar a few weeks later. Not only is it weird, its just plain stupid.

I agree with most of you and how you feel about WSH as well (I too disagree with pretty much everything he says), however, I do think enough is enough and we should get back to the topic of this thread.

With that said, I believe he does really have the cars he says to have. In the AMG Private Lounge he is registered and his profile does say he owns a 2009 CL65. This isn't editable AFAIK and shows whatever VIN you register with. And no, you can't just use a VIN off a car at a dealer. It must be registered.

I don't doubt it. But there's still a lot of coming from the eccentric fellow.

I agree. You'd have to have money to literally burn to accomodate some of his suggestions. But when I was younger, I was guilty of buying a new car on average every 10 months, no lie! so I reserve judgement.
I got married in 1990 and I have been in and out of over 35 vehicles of some sort since then. However, this car is now almost 3 years old and I'm breaking a new record for longest held vehicle. The longest I kept a car was a 1984 VW Rabbit and I had it exactly to the day 5 years and ironically I sold it the week it hit 100,000 miles! I had a 1989 Acura Legend for about 2 1/2 years and a 2002 MB CL500 for 2 1/2 years and I just surpassed that mark a few months ago.

Absolutely agreed, and wow am I not an exception to that in any way. That's why I've held off commenting on him until now.

Ha ha that was me who have asked and I have to say I quite like how WSH replied even though recommending saving on a steering wheel and buying a new S AMG instead isn't something you'd expect, but then why not I was not offended at all by his post. I think you guys should be a bit more respectful for other opinions.
Take it easy, you come here to have fun after all

2008 S550 AMG
I enjoy reading WSH's posts and agree with others who believe that he does in fact own the claimed vehicles. Some people in this world really do have that much money and more power to him for enjoying AMG 65 vehicles. I certainly wish I could have afforded an S65, but for now I'm certainly enjoying my 550.

I don't think anyone really cares if he does or not. You are probably right that he does, and I'm sure he can afford to go through them like water.

However, the problem comes in when he makes completely unfounded claims that are simply outrageous.

It could be considered trolling, despite that he is always on the side of AMG.

To be a little more specific,"he is always on the side of AMG he owns at the moment".
All other MBs and AMGs are POS ,according to his posts.

I saw a 2010 S63 on wednesday night. He literally must have been on his way home from the dealer.

Rear:
Worst angle of the car I think. It looks a bit bulbous and like its trying to be a Bentley flying spur. I'm sure this will grow on me, but this I was not blown away by.

Front:
Absolutely brilliant. Very very impressive. Led strips are a bit much, but I dig the overall package.

Side: Again, nice wheels, nice lines, not much change here, except that the front end seems a bit lower and more pointed.

Overall, this is a VERY good looking car, and may cause me to sell my 220 sooner than I anticipated.

Wow, yeah 2010 S63 must be just gorgeous.

My only real dislikes of the car are minor, the tails aren't as unique or fitting as the pre F.L',s and the angular mirrors aren't as classy or fitting as the rounder, more elegant pre F.L's. Other than that, a complete winner. L.E.D's I agree are a bit over the top and gimmicky, but nothing I couldn't live with .

I picked up my first brand new Majestic Black 2010 S550 yesterday and so far all i can say is WOW, i love it!! I traded in the Lexus LS460L for it and was a bit skeptical at first because of the great experience with the LS. It has only been a day with it and so far the car surpasses the LS in every possible way. Pictures to come tomorrow!

I LOVE your C63. I wish the CL looked like the C class, just bigger and as a coupe.
