I believe so, larger strip of LED's are located within the headlights and smaller (fog) LED's are just below. I can't imagine how good the car looks at nightfall with just LED's on. how do you guys feel about the tail lights

LED under the heads look good but the strip by the fog lamp looks more aftermarket, more like cheap christmas lights.

I hope they aren't easy to accidentally knock off/damage while washing the car.

Hey guys, i might be going back today, so il try to take pics of the car with the led fog lights on once i figure out how to turn them on :|. The tail lights from the previous model are much better, but i guess theyl grow on us. I was amazed at how low to the ground the amg kit makes the car.

What makes me cringe is how close that door comes to hitting that information stand![EEK!](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/eek.gif)
Please make sure to move that when you go back for more pictures.
It also seems to have distronic but the reflective panel in the center of the grille goes only halfway up the grille . Used to go completely from top to bottom, and if it does have distronic, then why does it have the "bullet holes" in the bumper?

Also, the door hitting the stand wont be a problem since the car is equipped with blind spot assist.

Indeed, there's some silly gvt reg that makes EU 65s still have the archaic bulletholes (see mbusa pics of EU 65s w/DistPlus)
Though our German pals will (rightfully) mock US' 3rd World pothole-laden roads/fwys and girlie speed lims
The poorly located sign in showroom reminds me why I always take deliv of my new cars (spec'd and prepped to my curmudgeonly tastes) within about 6hrs of prep...and avoid ever visiting dealer svc unless absolutely needed (thankfully, latest new S65 or CL65 are arguably most reliable and low-mtce cars on planet today)....much easier, more aesthetically pleasing to get another new 65 than to deal w/a 65's injuries post-sloppy handling at a dealer (even best dealers w/repeat, new 65 custs)

Well the bottom LED's look very close to the 09 911's LED's. Which like good. Do the top and bottom LED come on when the car is driven. If yes seems like to many lights.

I completely agree. I saw a black one last weekend with every possible option except designo. I love everything they've done to it. Truly makes me want to trade my current S550 in for it.

I was at the dealership this past week for services and I spoke to one of the salesmen and he left me with the impression that the only updates on the 2010 S550 were the LEDs. Is this true or am I missing something?

I saw one, looks nice, don't like the tails though, they look like poor interpretations of the pre F.L W211 tails. I will say I think the car is an L.E.D OVERKILL, it looked like driving christmas lights to me, between all the ones in the front headlights/foglights, and the tails, they just seemed a bit gimmicky. I think "less is more" in that regard would have benefited the car a bit, although I will say when you look at either of the L.E.D clusters on their own, they do look pretty cool.
