Which do you prefer: LOGIC7 on or off?
I'm not sure as I did some very brief testing with a music CD, but it seems I get better stereo separation with LOGIC7 off. With it on, it sounds like mono.

What is your preference?

I have the Logic & in both my 750Li and my S550, but I'm impressed by the system as a whole. In my 750Li I had had the amp replaced 5 times and there always had distortion. Every now and then, I have distortion in my driver-side door and this is regardless of the type of music (alternative, jazz, R&B, Hip-Hop, etc.).

Could you be a little more specific, I went to audio and it only list the differant medias ie. cd, radio, mp3. Thanks

When in any Audio source, at the bottom right of the COMAND screen is a SOUND option. Go there - there is an entry for Logic 7 - be sure it is checked.

All of this is covered in the owner's manual - I highly recommend reading it.

Logic 7
No question that Logic 7 is better. However, the quality of this system can only be realized with an Audio DVD which has a higher linear sampling rate, a higher bit-per-sample resolution, and the additional channels for spatial sound reproduction. It is worth purchasing one just to experience the true potential of the sound system in your car.
