I have only a minute now, but I will say that the two cars are made by two different companies. The E is a good car, no where near as good as my '07, but all in all a good car. The S is an experience, an experience you never want to end. I'm not kidding- my commute time has jumped higher because I am always trying to find a way to NOT arrive, to keep driving, for whatever reason. Last night we had a sitter- my wife and I decided to just drive, for 3 hours. We didn't go anywhere, we just drove. No other car moves me like that. I'm in love........

I am totally with you... yet for me the effect manifests itself differently... I am actually driving less these days and spending more time on my bike... so each time I do drive my S600 it becomes even more of an occasion!

Bike one day... S-Class the next... I like the (extreme) contrasts...

That's awesome. I'm jealous. I go back and forth on getting the 221, just can't get myself to go forth with it, the ole' "dollar to pleasure" ratio goes back and forth, and usually ends up not adding in the S's favor for my particular life.

Still dunno, I have the Autotrader pulled up with S550's almost every day still....

s550 all the way. Buti would tell u to get info from people who have specifically driven an e class and then changed to an s class
