No disrespect, but is it true some kits are cheap and break easily? How much does it cost for a kit and labor to put it on?!?

No disrespect, but is it true some kits are cheap and break easily? How much does it cost for a kit and labor to put it on?!?
When it comes to body kits the cost pretty much follows the MSRP of the car, since they know its for a 100k+ car the cost of the body kit will reflect that. Parts alone usually for a kit on a W221 will range from 7k to 14k depending on which kit. Some actually still come in fiberglass which is the worst kind of material. Also, figure about 3-5k for paint and install and you can easily be close to 20k for a complete kit with install. With the way the W221 hold value, I would definitely pass on such mods.

Typically body kits lower the value. As for the 221's holding value have you looked at the used car prices on 221's recently? They drop like the proverbial rock in an elevator shaft.

Exactly what I mean, you're basically burning your money by putting any mods on this car, so unless you dont plan on buying another MB for the next 20yrs I would definitely PASS on doing such things.
