What is the best color on an S550?

In fact black is my favorite color but I like a contrasting interior....a dark brown or even deep red.
Here's a nice interior I had on another car at one time

Dude, you got my hopes up. I've been looking for a low mileage E24 and I thought you had it in your front seat photos, but it looks like an E28. Love the condition of the leather interior.

The Designo Blue does look like a Bentley Bespoke color, as they have over 300 colors available, plus any color you want. As for this car, it is very rare. It is a Designo Color plus its a face lifted S Class. I found there were only 7 built through the 10-13 model year run. Most people that buy the color are younger buyers, ballers, rappers new money or European. It is a really nice color but the only ones I have usually seen have the Designo Brown interiors and I find that the Designo Porcelain/blk interior, is the best combination for this color. The brown interior really isn't very well suited for this particular blue. Its actually very hard to pull this color off and I am sure resale of this color will be a difficult one. Its either a color you like or you don't, no in between on this one, that is for sure.

I don't find that Silver in any form is actually a good color for this car. The body really needs a dark color to hide the very strong over emphasized character lines. I am not a fan of gloss black as they are mostly livery cars, funeral cars, and taxi cabs but the Designo dark colors or metallic blacks would have to be the best for this body style. They hide all the flaws and makes the car look less thick and lengths the body. Lighter colors on this body style just don't really work. It might be a color choice people gravitate towards because the lack of color choice forced people into a box and dealers usually made the choices for the buyers. Mercedes really just needs to have a stronger color pallet to choice from. I am hearing from my friend at Mercedes that they are going to implement a program, where a buyer can actually have any color of their choosing. They are trying to iron out the details on price.

I have the Lunar Blue Metallic and it is very cool. Shifts color between blue and black depending on lighting.

Black/black is my starting point, but my favorite is black exterior with a contrasting interior. I'm not fan of the tan interior with black. For me, the light grey is perfect-- not very common, even a bit custom looking and it shows off the dark would, nicely.
A couple that I owned and liked less were the tan and a charcoal grey. The charcoal was in a black exterior and just looked like an off-black or faded black. Now that I have a charcoal grey exterior, the dark grey interior would work.
