W221 2007 (completely smoked out) taillights for sale, best offer
I just completed the taillight conversion on my 07 S550 w the 2010 ones. I had my 07 lights smoked out completely and the color of my car was black so the two paint strips are black. Both function perfectly. Make me a reasonable offer and their yours. If you want pics just pm me and I'll forward them to you. Also for sale are a pair of stock fog lights since I installed the new drl's.

I just called the dealer about the tailight conversion they are talking eight hundred dollars for the whole things does that sound right? I would love to get the 2010 tailights but that is crazy.

The dealers here in NJ won't even do the taillight conversion.
At least your deal is willing to do it for a price.

The dealer will NEVER perform a change like this. According to them it is too much of a liability for them. The lights retail for about $375-450. Depending if your MB rep gives you a discount....ask & they will, they work on commision!! Then to install is the tricky part. There is another thread that further elaborates on this. You can either get a SAM programmed to it or run a cross wire to get the top row of the LED row working (top row WILL shut off on you)....you might spend about $300 for someone to install w all the correct resistors to not half *** the job

John I have no idea of how to add a pic to the thread to show you the DRL, if you want send me your email & I cansend it to you. I have it on my iPhone & haven't had a chance to save it to my desktop.

Your right gyzmo....most will not. $800 was probably just the price of parts. And that is a decent price...mine were at 385 w a discount.
