2013 S-Class Spy Photos Emerge
Now that the Mercedes S-Class has undergone its requisite mid-life revision, next up comes a full refresh of the model, likely due late in 2012 as a 2013 model. Giving you a very small glimpse of what to expect from the luxury sedan, spy photos of the next-generation S-Class have emerged, although heavy masking and false body paneling reveal most of the model’s design elements.

I also agree with the poster that said they're looking more and more like the Maybachs.
Also, it looks like the shape of the tails are more W212, which is a major thumbs down, IMO.

I believe the common understanding is that this will be a MY2014 body available in (early?) 2013.

I took a look at the new Lexus LS and also the new GS - WOW!!
The S is woefully behind the times right now. Almost embarrassing especially the dash/nav and everything else inside.

MY2012 W221 is already in the showrooms, there are no visible design changes.
Did Lexus refresh the LS already? Looking at their website, we have the same tired Camry-resembling exterior and the army of plastic buttons inside. W221 is light years ahead even now, so I hope they don't drop it with W222.
