Just got home with my new s550
I've been shopping for a few weeks. Got a call from my dealer with a deal i couldn't pass up. 07 32k miles. CPO till jan 2012. Amg sport and p2. Exactly what I was after. I wanted black, whit or iridium but this car was andorite. Still not 100% on the color but it's growing on me. Dark grey interior. I'll tint it tomorrow and start to look for some rims.

Congratulations, looks almost the same as mine, and I'm loving it!

1,200 mile college visit tour through New England this weekend. This vehicle just loves to cruise.

650 miles, ~9.5 hrs in the driving seat, average speed 68MPH, 25.0MPG.
Very comfortable, smooth ride, appreciated the ventilated seat option.

No tinting for me as I use the side and rear blinds for shade/security.

Have fun with it!

the more i drive it, the more i love it, i find myself just driving slow and cruising, which is very odd for me, i'm normally very aggressive, i guess its true, your heart does beat slower in the s class.

That's right, you live longer
I used to be very aggressive driver too .. quite ashamed of myself now (got few BMWs in the stable but prefer to drive my MB .. it is just much better driving ZEN) S Class is the best!

agreed. i drive much slower in the S as well. going fast just means less time in it ... and that's no good.

Would you be willing to share the price you paid? I would like to know what today's market is since I may be shopping for similar car.

i shopped the hell out of these cars, i didnt want a car without at least p2,. no tan interior and had to have amg kit. lots of stripped option free cars here, but in south Florida there are literally thousands of these for sale, in you live in Minnesota for example,you dont have the same selection, so i knew i could find one.

i wanted as clost to 30 k miles i could find, 32 was ok, most cars in the price ranger were closer to 40 k. i wanted a car with at least a few months of original warranty left and hopefully a cpo car from the dealer. i got all those things for 48k. most cars from dealers were priced closer to 55, but i know the vp of the dealer so it doesnt hurt. i was willing to pay anywhere up to 55 to get the right car, but i didnt have to

GFEAR.. exactly my experience as well.. had the FI mgr search for a week but nothing in New England with the right options <30k miles and max $60K... I lucked out finding mine... same color as yours too

to add to some of the other comments above.. I noticed I tend to "cruise" a lot more and not necessarily be in any rush Made my wife happy as originally I was looking at the E63 AMG .. zoom zoom ....
