Question regarding seat massage feature

I have a 2010 S550 and the seat massage normally shuts off after 20-25 minutes... Is it possible to set it to remain on indefinitely?

I haven't found a way, but I did assign the function to the * button in the center console so it's easy to turn back on (and off).

the seats are "fragile". i wouldn't be surprised if they put that timer in just because they know their usage life time is low.

The best or nothing
The air compressor is very small and heats a lot under load (it is located behind rear seats). I had mine replaced as well as all the bladders. For sure the design is flawed..

Dynamic seats etc.

Driver's side bladder(s) are leaking, per dealer. I am out of warranty. Replace drvs' side over twelve hundred bucks. No guarantee it'll work thereafter. I feel cheated. 2007 Designo Launch. On ground less than three and a half years, but fifty six k miles. M-B told me to suck wind, when I asked for an exception. I have driven/owned M-B's since the "80's. So much for loyalty. It's a diferent co., a different culture. Sad. Just sad. I am really bummed. For that matter, the rep on the phone almost took joy in blowing me off. Buy something else.

1200 damn. I've had plenty of work done on the drivers seat under warranty but didn't know it was that much without. Is that at a MB shop or independent? How much is parts?

Wonder if the BMW system is more reliable. Why couldn't MB get this right. The previous S had the same/similar "pulse" system right? Didn't they learn anything. Or are they intentionally trying to make money on future repairs. Good way to tank reliability ratings.

I did mine at 6.000 miles ... so to me that's quite a new car :-) Luckily, it was under warranty. I am prepared to pay once again as it may happen again when my S gets out of warranty. I hope the next S will be much better built. You have to pay to play :-) It's a wonderful car but expensive but we all knew it when long before we bought it right? :-)

true true. in general i believe the w221 is so much more reliable than the w220 so there isn't much to complain about.
