Brabus s550 2007
Last month when my wife and I were on vacation, we were driving through South Carolina and come across a 2007 s550 with pano roof and a Brabus kit which included exhaust and had some 22" aftermarket asanti forged wheels. I was curious if a brabus kit comes with any other accessories. I know without a member putting their hands on the car, it is hard to know, but I was curious if a kit comes with a different ecu or lower modular.
Any and all opinions are welcome. I have went back and forth on the car and really am wanting to know some valid member's opinions and facts on the packages also any other options i should look for when looking at a s550.
Thanks

Take a look at the Brabus website, it has the breakdown for the parts that come with each kit.

Thanks for the link...kinda silly, but never thought to check it out. go figure. I still would love to hear some feedback on the vehicle overall, and what some could and should look out for. Thanks again.

Here's three more sites. Depending on which Brabus kit and Asanti wheels the car has on it, it may look pretty good. I guess the question is, are you trying to buy the car you saw or are you trying to customize you S550 the same way.

I checked the car out at a dealership and it has 59k on the clock. It needed some minor touch up's and such, but nothing too serious. I have been in contact with the dealership and also have been looking at a m6 convertible. Apples and oranges when looking at the two, but I like both.

There were asking 49k for the vehicle. I think from my personal opinion without investigating it came from a seizure auction in my opinion. I thought it was a decent deal, but my wife wasn't in the "car buying" mood when we are on vacation. I figured 42k would be a nice buy with the miles and options.

I bought my 2007 CPO S550 in 2009 for around 59k and it only had 20k miles on it. It's pretty well loaded, the only options it doesn't have are the night vision, disctronic plus, ABC, and heated rear seats. Hopefully this gives you an idea of what to expect to spend, but I wouldn't purchase the car based on the Brabus kit and Asanti wheels. If so you're asking for trouble, the car may have some serious issues. I would look for one that's CPO.
