2011 S550 On-Sale Date Question
When will the S550 change from the 2010 to the 2011 model year? Are any updates expected when it does?

Looks to be about right. Last 2010 S production looks to be the first week of June, so those models will arrive in the US late June, at the dealer first week of July.

Quite possibly they will introduce the new TT V8 base engine to replace the 550.

New model as in revamped S-class? The mid-production cycle freshening was for the 2010 model year, so the all new S-class replacement won't be here until 2013...

The next S will probably be a 2013 MY in Europe (meaning it will hit the streets in 2012), and a 2014 MY in the U.S.
