Auto Close Door Settings?
Is there any to to adjust the auto-close function to be more sensative? In my previous car, if the door merely touched the lock, it would engage the closing mechanism. Not so in my 2010 Merc. The front doors seem a little more sensitive than the rears, but they are all less so than my Audi was.

I don't know of any such adjustment, maybe ask your dealer service man.
I noticed that my 2010 needs a little more force than my old 2004 S500 needed, just takes some getting used to. The 2010 does close more quietly though.

My kids notice it is less sensitive than the A8.They have to pull on the doors to get them closed. Spoiled brats!

I've understood that the new approach is driven by safety. Now it is less likely that someone has fingers between the car and the door and the door power closes suddenly.
Personally I wouldn't mind if it was equally sensitive (started to operated when the door is further away from closed position) like earlier S-class cars did but safety and liability often drive things to a less preferred direction from comfort point of view.
