I finally did it.
I now see what all the fuss is about, that car is unreal and is a work of art. There is definetly only two kinds of cars out there, Mercedes Benz and the others.
Ok ok, enough of the rant (really can't help it). It is a fully loaded Black 2008, P3 with Pano roof and a tan interior. Once again damn that car is pretty.
Quick question, I only got one set of keys, how much will it cost to get a second key made and I'm sure this can be done at a Benz dealer.
Plus do you think the Benz dealer can throw in the manual for free?
I will post pictures soon.
I think the number I've seen discussed around here for the second set is $250.00. Might vary from dealer to dealer or state to state. I would assume the dealer, as a goodwill gesture.. or even customer service issue (I'm assuming they would love to have your service business in the future) would make sure the car had the correct manuals.

In snow country? I am in Wisconsin. Driven MB since the eighties. I put four snows on the others each season. Have my first 4Matic. This AWD hasn't disappointed me so far.
Looks as you got a solid vehicle for a reasonable cost.
This forum and past threads are a gold mine of info. I am sure all here share in your joy and obvious pride.
Good luck.

My father lost his S550 key and we ordered one from my local Mercedes dealer and it was $185 after taxes if I remember correctly. Took the keyless go button off, put the key in, and its been working perfectly fine ever since.
I'm sure you will enjoy that S550.

Great Line
Sometimes I just cruise an extra 10mins past work or home just because the car is that nice. My next vehicle will probably be the CL 550 or 600 (drolling at the thought of more horses). But I did notice one thing that I wasn't too impressed about and it was the Harmon Kardon Sound system. I have to admit, the Bose in my infiniti sounded much better.
Then again, Bose is only second to B&O and even that can be argued.
I haven't had any problems so far and I take very good care of my cars anyway. So i don't anticipate any major problems in the future either.
