Car won't start -Dash Lights on Help Please

Hi everyone, today I tried starting the 2007 S550 and it won't start. Car has about 48k miles on it.
I looked in the owners manual to see what the lights meant but found nothing that had exactly what I was looking at on the dash. Hopefully you all can help me. I don't know the exact names of each light so I described it as well as I could. Thanks in advance

The following lights were on:

Park - yellow
Brake - Red
ABS - yellow
Exclamation mark in a triangle - yellow
picture of a car in a triangle - Red
Check engine light - yellow

Also, car is a 2007 but the build date says 11/06 so am I out of warranty? (@48k miles)

It goes by purchase date, not build date I thought.

Did you check the starter battery voltage?

Could you be more specific when you say the car does not start. Some people mean the starter motor does not crank the engine, some mean it cranks but does not fire up. Makes a big difference.

Sorry I should have been more clear. When I depress the brake and push the push-start button there is nothing that happens. No sound at all. So in other words the starter won't crank the engine. I didn't check the battery because all the lights etc... turned on properly when I tried turning it on - no lights were dimming etc... It is very likely that it is a dead battery that just needs a jump, but with all the lights that turned on on the dashboard as listed above I assumed it was something more substantial.

I see the warranty does start from the day of the initial purchase. As i'm therefore probably in warranty, I'm guessing the battery is not probably covered...

Perhaps I should have been more clear when I requested you to check the starter battery. Since the car has a separate starter battery, this one can be flat even if all your dash lights are OK and main lights do not dim when you try to start the car. The starter battery is at the engine compartment, easy to check.

Yes... Our cars have 2 batteries. Try jumping the car. I had enough juice once to illuminate lights but not start the car...

Do you know why that happened? Usually it should be the opposite, the consumer battery may run flat but the starter battery would be fine. Was the battery at the end of its life?

Can be anything. The reason the second battery protects the computer and all settings, etc. If that goes flat its a pain in the ***. Another member posted computer problems that ended up being a bad second battery...

No I did not know that we had two batteries. If I want to jump the starter where do I hook up the jump cables? Or do I just need to look around under the hood? If so how do I differentiate the two batteries?

Jump it under the hood. Facing the car its at your top left... Good Luck!

Other thing to check is the brake pedal sensor. If you dont have your foot on the brake the car wont start and the dash lights will come on as if its getting ready to start. If the sensor stopped working it might think your foot is off the pedal. Also if this is keyless, take out the push button and try using the key...

Sounds like the car battery died out. This could happen by not starting up or driving the vehicle for long period of time.

Call Mercedes emergency roadside service. They have an 800 number. They will send out a vehicle to diagnose the problem. If it is under warranty they will fix it for free. If not under warranty, the charge is the same as you would pay at the dealer. The come out with a supply of parts including batteries, relays, and electronic modules and are prepared to do minor repairs.

As predicted was just the starter battery. Roadside assistance jumped it - died later, so they just finished replacing it under warranty.

Thanks for all the input.
