Anyone have a copy of the CPO Warranty Terms?
I bought my '07 s550 from a dealer with the MB CPO warranty, but in looking through ALL my documentation, I cannot find a copy of the CPO terms...what is covered, what is not, etc.....does anyone have a copy of the MB CPO "official document"? Any chance someone could scan for me? The dealer (different than the one I purchased from) is a bit elusive on the subject.

MB and every other car company do not give you a written contract listing items covered or not, there is just too many items to list. Everything except normal wear & tear items are covered but my MB Dealer tells me they have to replace a part to get paid by MB USA, in other words if your garage door opener doesn't program, CPO warranty does not cover programming it but if it is faulty and they replace this item, it will be covered.

Unfortunately I'm on the wrong side of the pond to put my hands on it. There are other items that are not covered - trim items, convertible tops, etc.

What I am saying is that they hand you a three page pamphlet that explains the CPO coverage in general terms but you will never find "every single item covered" listed anywhere.
Same as standard warranty for a new car, they call it bumper-to-bumper with exclusions due to abuse, normal wear & tear, etc.

There has to be a document that you sign when purchasing the warranty; this contract should reference a legal document that outlines the terms of the warranty. The three-page booklet is likely just a marketing summary of the coverage.
The new car warranty terms are included with the manual:

Like I said - I'm on my 3rd CPO, and I've gotten paperwork with all of them. I'm on the wrong side of the pod at the moment, but I could scan my UK versions for you!
I'm assuming for whatever reason your dealer is refusing to give you a copy? If so, I'd hop on the phone to MBUSA and have them send a copy.
