Based on the latest batch of spy photos and those we have seen in the past, he new Mercedes S-Class appears to be longer in lenght and a slightly biger wheelbase.

Actually the S-Class will get smaller and lighter. (That trend due to the need to continuously improve fuel economy).

The new E-Class grew a bit, ok, the tow bar is used for extreme load pressure on the engine/suspension and the permissible tow capabilities are also determined.

I have personally seen testers from Daimler AG South Africa, test loads of AMG and Diesel cars in our Namibian and Karoo desert. Well lets says we get word of mouth that they going to test and we sometimes have the pleasure of hearing and watching (under-cover, sought of) these amazing super cars getting punished and also towing a trailer which obviously has the next Mercedes, which will do the towing next, so they swop them out and abuse them, yes ABUSE the hell out of them in real world conditions.

This is the fundamental reason S-class AMG, G-class and ML-class AMG models, just seem to be so robust. They get melted down with the tests.

Anyway, I need to get images on the site, some have seen what looks like the new A-class AMG already been tested, also the all new SL, the new BMW M5 - F10 also went through unforgivable testing over the past year.

I have no idea how some folks here can already judge the appearance when you can barely see the car, but the general shapes don't look much different from W221.

Seriously. It looks EXACTLY like a W221 in that pic, very small differences from what we can see so far, which is a good thing.
