Hey guys,
We're rolling around 10-11K on our tires, and are starting to wonder whether or not to continue with the Continentals, they are a great tire, but unfortunately a little noisy..... and of course as a performance tire would be: poor in slippery conditions.
I was wondering have any of you with the sport+1 wheels attempted putting All seasons, I was think the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S?
Any input would be appreciated.

I don't have 4M but do have the AMG Sport wheels in staggered fit with the Pilot Sport A/S tires. Find them ok in the wet (I live in Houston so can't speak to snow) but they are noisier on dry pavement then the OEM's I had by quite a good margin.
If you are looking for decent treadlife I think they are a good choice but if you can live with tires that are going to last <20K miles I'd go with something else.

I just replaced oem Contipro's on my s550v4 with Conti DWS ExtremeContact's...so far very good....fantastic in serious snow...ride seems to be about the same, but noise is less.

Do you have the Sport Package (either one) or just standard 18's? Thanks!Originally Posted by new550

The conti extreme contact dws tires are all season and have received great reviews. They are known for low road noise. I'm going to get them next for my s500. I have 18" amgs . Goodluck

Agreed with s5benzo, I was thinking to get the same in the 20" fitment. But, I don't know anyone who has these...

I have the Conti Extreme Contact DWS on my 20" wheels. Solid tires especially in snow.
